So it looks like my dreams may actually be answered (soon I hope!). While the world is buzzing with excitement over the recent iPhone version 2 announcement, Sony Ericsson have some pretty fantastic news of their own.

They are preparing to release an uber-jammy camera phone so chock full of features it’s making my hands shake. The C905 (codename Shiho) is specced out to be a 8.1 megapizxel digital camera with auto focus, face recognition, image stabilization, red eye reduction and flash. It’s going to sport a 2.4″ high res TFT display that has a built-in accelerometer that will auto-rotate your images as you turn the phone. Some of the features to be packed into this “phone”? How about built in GPS, TV-out, built in WiFi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 data transfers?

I’ve always wanted a digital camera that acted like a phone as phones suck at acting like digital cameras so here’s hoping this announcement is legit!
